What you’ll do
Senior Business Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis, business analytics, decision support, and productivity tools to Customer Fulfillments Services (CFS) and Order Management through initiatives designed to meet overall business objectives. The Senior Business Reporting Analyst role will define metrics, conduct analysis, create and maintain databases and applications, extend the use of core enterprise systems and create presentations to communicate the health of the operations. The individual will also drive collaboration across business and technical teams to define enhanced business processes and tools and effectively implement solutions which enable business improvements.
Working in Order Management/CFS, the Senior Business Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the following primary duties:
- Analyze information using broad and deep knowledge of both the business and the technical aspects within Order Management and CFS.
- Develop robust analytics, tools and reporting which will drive to a consistent, efficient, approach to supporting management decisions.
- Partner with team members, managers, and directors in all operational functions to define metrics to monitor performance, drive efficiency of processes, and achieve targeted outcomes of the department.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and present findings to senior management, as well as partner with key leaders to ensure department objectives are met.
- Identify, develop and implement improvements for data accuracy and reporting by presenting complex analytical issues in a clear, easy-to-understand format.
- Identify key issues and work with management and staff to solution current process enhancements and operational effectiveness to best in class, including the identification and implementation of automation.
- Balance multiple tasks and reprioritize as needed.
- Sort through ambiguity and work in sometimes undefined roles. Troubleshoot data issues effecting management visibility and clearly communicate issues.
- Learn new technologies and skills.
- Implement best practice project management processes and systems to help define project plans and timelines, track and report progress and information flow between all stakeholders
- Analyze raw data, utilize reporting tools and apply business insights to problem solve and proactively plan for critical business activities and capture trends
What you’ll need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proven experience in creating Wave datasets and dashboards.
- Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce
- Strong skills in analyzing raw data using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Access, with the ability to apply business insights for problem-solving and proactive planning.
- Extensive experience in SQL, including writing queries, creating tables, data loads, and database administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Superior analytical and technical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, assessing, leading and implementing change.
- Self-starter with drive for continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives effectively.
- Strong organizational, observational, and communication skills.
- Ability to tailor communication methods to different audiences.
- Proven ability to lead stakeholders towards a common purpose.
- Customer-facing experience is preferred.
Preferred but not necessary: skills/education/experience/working knowledge
- Experience in Publishing Industry
- Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and tools
- Demonstrated continuous improvement process success
Salary Range - $85,000 - $90,000.
