GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Vice Provost for Learning Innovation with the Center for Learning Innovation seeks a dynamic and visionary individual to lead new pathways in professional development and course creation. This individual will work on the creation of new programs and curation of resources to build new degree and non-degree opportunities that allow Illinois Tech to continue in its leadership to provide high-quality, credentialed training, coaching, and professional development initiatives to internal and external organizations.

This position provides customer service to students, faculty, staff and site coordinators.

Education & Experience
- Master's degree in education, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing online learning programs
- Proven experience managing educational programs, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in professional and continuing education.
- Experience with budget management and financial planning.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to enhance program delivery and administration.

This hybrid position combines 40% in-person and 60% remote work with a flexible schedule, balancing on-campus presence and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibility
Program Development and Management
- Collaborate with faculty, industry experts, and other stakeholders to design and deliver innovative and impactful educational programs on highly regarded skills and competencies in tech-oriented organizations, STEM areas, and K-12 math and science curriculum and instruction.
- Curate content from internal or external content providers to meet the needs of regular students or special programs.
- Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and training and development needs.
- Interact with AI providers to evaluate, recommend and implement innovative tools that can lead to efficient course generation and customer support.
- Evaluate, assess and recommend courses of action for the creation of new programs and the enhancement of existing programs
- Work with CLI staff to identify, select and develop new courses and programs from existing resources.
- Manage program lifecycle, including planning, marketing, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to using data-driven insights to support program growth and relevance.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging practices to ensure programs remain current and competitive.
