The Professional Services Coordinator organizes and manages professional service training, including logistical coordination and post-service follow-up with customers and internal teams. With guidance from Professional Services management, this role also involves proactive outreach to new and existing customers to contribute to generating and closing professional services business.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Upon request and with guidance from Professional Services management, support our Customer Success and Sales teams during professional services conversations with customers.
- With guidance from the Professional Services Manager, contribute to learning services revenue targets by building a professional services customer base with guidance from Professional Services management and using proactive outreach.
- Understand customer training needs and guide them through creating a learning plan.
- Follow a customer-focused communication model that includes continual collaboration with sales, presenters, and school sponsors throughout the customer's life to ensure the learning plan is followed.
- Negotiate and coordinate professional service contracts with customers within company parameters.
- Manage all workshop logistics for virtual and in-person professional services, including scheduling presenters, making presenter travel arrangements, generating, and distributing training links, and maintaining the CRM database.
- Complete detailed post-event follow-up, including compiling feedback from the presenter and sponsor, documenting and relaying the feedback to the sales/CSM team, holding a wrap-up meeting when warranted, and providing the sponsor with other training opportunities.
- Maintain a robust knowledge of Learning Without Tears (LWT) curriculum, products, services, and customer base.
- Manage additional projects related to the professional services department as needed. (See appendix)
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in meeting/event planning and customer service-related fields, preferably in an education setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with vendors and customers.
- Expertise with MS Office.
- Knowledge of a customer relationship manager database and experience with teleconferencing preferred.
- Strong service orientation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift to 20 lbs.
- Ability to travel:
- Approximately 2 -4 trips per year.
- Approximately 6 - 10 travel days per year.
- Approximately 3% of working time.
