Position Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Momentive Software, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our non-profit/associations & events sector. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the expansion of our customer base within the non-profit, associations & events space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting organizations with solutions that enhance their effectiveness and impact.
A Day in the Life
- Prospect and generate new business leads within the non-profit sector through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking.
- Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers within target organizations and understand their needs, challenges, and priorities.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with prospects, engaging in consultative conversations to uncover opportunities for Momentive Software’s’ solutions.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings or demos with the appropriate sales representatives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and pipeline development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in non-profit & associations management to effectively position Momentive Software’s’ solutions.
We are looking for someone who brings
- Must be able to come into office 5 days a week
- Understanding of enterprise B2B sales - B2B SaaS sales preferred.
- Inside sales experience a plus
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Motivation, driven and a self-starting attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
- Good time management with strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is strongly preferred
