The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in our sales process by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients. This role is designed for a proactive and goal-oriented individual eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. As an SDR, you will work closely with Account Executives and the sales team to drive revenue by setting up qualified meetings and nurturing leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within targeted accounts.
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute outreach campaigns via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to generate interest and engage potential clients.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads by assessing the needs and pain points of prospects to determine if they align with our product or service offerings.
- Scheduling Meetings: Set up qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives, ensuring seamless handoffs and providing context about the prospect's needs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track interactions, manage leads, and ensure accurate pipeline reporting.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings scheduled, and qualified opportunities created.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams: Provide feedback on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and customer insights to help improve sales and marketing efforts.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity to enhance the quality of conversations with prospects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 0-2 years in sales, customer service, or lead generation roles (experience in B2B or SaaS environments is a plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with cold calling and building rapport with prospects.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time-management skills and attention to detail to handle multiple outreach tasks.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Gong) is a plus.
- Self-Motivated: Driven, results-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a sales career.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and open to feedback and new strategies.
- Location: Must reside in the Central US Time Zone.
Salary Range- 50,000-70,000 based on experience. Variable compensation is available for hitting desired goals. Full benefit package – details on application site.
