About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to lead and execute user research initiatives for our client. In this role, you will uncover valuable insights through advanced research methodologies, triangulate data from multiple sources, and present findings in a compelling way to guide product design and development. This position requires strong communication and storytelling skills to engage stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute generative and evaluative research methods, including usability testing, contextual inquiries, heuristic evaluations, and A/B testing.
- Effectively communicate research findings through impactful presentations and detailed reports that drive actionable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX design, product management, engineering, marketing) to identify knowledge gaps and develop research strategies to address them.
- Apply strategic business thinking to align research efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Utilize advanced research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, OptimalSort, UserZoom) and techniques, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
- Drive empathy-based research, connecting human-centered insights to business values.
- Facilitate design sprints and UX workshops to integrate findings into iterative design processes.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including card sorting, JTBD (Jobs to Be Done) analysis, and survey design.
- Expertise in triangulating data from analytics, qualitative, and quantitative methods to provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills to convey complex insights effectively.
- Experience with UI/UX testing, iterative design, and persona creation.
- Mastery of digital research tools such as Dovetail, Smartsheets, and Recollective.
- Strong project management skills with a problem-solving, results-oriented mindset.
Location: Remote.
Type: Part Time, Up to 20 hours weekly.
Pay Rate: $50-$80/hr.
