About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and technically-savvy Sales Engineer who will excel as a trusted technical advisor to our customers as well as internal revenue teams. In this role you’ll bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and the value of what Learning Pool’s suite of products can offer in regards to tangible outcomes and transforming the learning and compliance programs of our customers.

Location: Flexible within the USA (Central/Eastern time zones). Candidates must have eligibility to work without the requirement of visa sponsorship by Learning Pool.
What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Provide technical guidance during sales cycles, including product demonstrations, and system design
- Partner with sales teams to understand client needs, articulate value proposition, and craft proposals that highlight ROI.
- Build relationships with decision-makers during the sales process as part of the revenue team to expand opportunities.
- High sales acumen or willingness to develop selling skills.
- Strong communication skills in the sales process to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Configuring and running customized demonstrations of Learning Pool’s products with customers
- Supporting the development of resources, demonstration tools and training materials to support internal knowledge development around our products on behalf of the Solutions team.
- Working closely with customers and Learning Pool colleagues to ensure effective and efficient implementation of their learning solution and changes to this solution over time
- Partner with Product Development, Customer Success, Sales Leadership and the ability to collaborate with all departments within Learning Pool to help close business as a team.
- Staying up to speed with, and sharing knowledge of, developments in technology and the markets we operate in.
- Share insights to improve product roadmaps and sales strategies.
- Support RFP process to determine viability and to ensure accurate responses.

- Enthusiasm for our customers: You will have a passion for providing world-class customer service
- Self-reliance: You will be familiar and comfortable with working independently, while remaining enthusiastic and motivated
- Superb organization and planning skills: You will have the ability to plan effectively and to provide customers with detailed follow up documentation

Working Environment:
This job operates in a professional home office environment. It is expected the employee has a separate dedicated working space within their home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and productivity tools such as computers, phones, email, instant messaging, Google collaborative tools, and project management platforms.
