About the Role
As a Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Content Strategist in developing and executing Learning Pool’s content strategy. You will be responsible for creating compelling content across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and driving engagement throughout the customer journey. This role will involve collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality content that supports our marketing and communications goals.

Location: Flexible in the UK with a preference for candidates who are within commutable distance to either our Derry, Oxford or Nottingham offices
What you will be doing
Roles & responsibilities include:
Content Creation & Curation:
- Assist in the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, website copy, video scripts, and long-form content.
- Curate and organise content assets, ensuring they are readily accessible and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Support the production of landing pages, blogs, social media and long-form content, working closely with internal and external video production and design teams.
Campaign Support:
- Contribute to the execution of content marketing campaigns, ensuring content is delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in the optimisation of content for various channels, including website, landing pages, emails, ads, and social media.
- Support the creation of personalised content for targeted campaigns and high-value accounts (account-based marketing campaigns).
Brand Alignment & Messaging:
- Ensure all content adheres to Learning Pool’s brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Content Strategist to maintain consistency across all content touchpoints.
- Support the development and implementation of a centralised content calendar and messaging matrices.
Data & Analytics Support:
- Assist in tracking content performance metrics and providing insights to the Marketing Content Strategist.
- Support the analysis of market trends and customer insights to help inform content creation.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to gather information and ensure content alignment.
- Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers as needed.

- Brand Awareness: You will have an understanding of brand messaging and the ability to maintain consistency across all content.
- Communication: You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Organisational Skills: You will have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Data Awareness: You will have basic understanding of content performance metrics and analytics.
- Adaptability: You will be flexible and have a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Teamwork: You will have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
