The Visual Communications Specialist plays a key role in shaping and delivering our organization’s visual and messaging strategy. This position blends design expertise with communications insight to create clear, compelling, and visually engaging materials that support our brand story, CEO initiatives, and internal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design visual assets for a variety of communication channels, including digital, print, presentations, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with communications, marketing, and creative teams to translate complex messages into clear, visually impactful content.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual coherence across all materials and touchpoints.
- Support the development of comm campaigns and storytelling initiatives through design concepts, layouts, and multimedia assets.
- Create infographics, reports, and other data visualizations that enhance understanding and engagement.
- Maintain design templates and asset libraries to streamline content creation and ensure brand integrity.
- Work with vendors, photographers, and illustrators as needed to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve creative output.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in visual communications, graphic design, or a related creative role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) or comparable tools.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, visual hierarchy, and storytelling principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interpret complex ideas visually.
- Experience creating content for both digital and print formats.
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and presentation design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, AI tools).
The base pay for this position ranges from $55,000 - $65,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
