Location: This position is located at Incident IQ HQ in Atlanta, GA.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $15 - $25 per hour.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support our marketing team in creating high-quality visual assets that power our campaigns, social media, and internal initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in digital design, while also offering mentorship, portfolio growth, and exposure to a fast-paced SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Help produce on-brand digital assets for campaigns, product launches, social media, and internal projects (i.e., web banners, landing page graphics, email headers, webinar/event promos, ads, social graphics, etc.)
- **May support social content: create graphics, carousels, stories, and short videos (cutdowns, captions, simple motion).
- Support the creative team by ideating and executing content creation concepts that balance creativity with strategic goals
- Build and refine scalable Canva templates so non-designers can create consistent, high-quality materials at speed.
- Explore and share design trends, applying them to enhance project outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver designs that meet expectations. Manage feedback rounds and keep work moving in our project tools.
- Organize our design library: maintain naming conventions, folders, metadata/alt text across assets.
What You’ll Bring
- Actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Some experience through academic, freelance, or personal projects, with a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, versatility, and an understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
- Detail orientation and file hygiene—tight naming, organized layers, and version control.
- Clear communication, openness to feedback, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Enthusiasm and a strong understanding of design and visual trends, particularly in digital marketing. Eagerness to learn new tools and skillsets
Nice to Have
- Basic video and motion graphic skills using Premiere Pro, After Effects or simple animation chops (GIFs, Lottie, reels)
- Illustration or iconography experience.
- Basic HTML/CSS awareness for web handoff.
- Project management experience
