Summary
Legal Program Manager specializing in Product, Privacy, and Policy who drives large-scale cross-functional legal initiatives at Grammarly, translating strategic priorities into actionable programs while improving team workflows and operating models.
Key Responsibilities: Manage cross-functional legal initiatives, define strategic priorities, and operationalize processes for product, privacy, and policy areas. Partner with product, engineering, and other teams to design and deploy processes, tools, and metrics that improve team efficiency while maintaining privilege and enabling transparency.
Skills & Tools: Strong program and project management capabilities with experience in legal operations, privacy, and compliance. Excellent cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, ability to work in high-ambiguity environments, and skills in breaking down strategic initiatives into structured workstreams with tracking and reporting.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in program or project management within a legal, compliance, or highly regulated tech environment, ideally with exposure to product/legal operations, privacy, IP, and public policy. Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple geographies including Europe and North America, with demonstrated ability to proactively set direction and adapt to shifting priorities.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States; Remote options available (United States or Canada)
Compensation: $137,000 – $209,000/year
