The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing inventory levels in relation to demand trends and proposing inventory purchases in order to meet customer needs. This role will attend development meetings and collaborate with product development to ensure that bills of materials and products are set up in Savvas' internal systems. The analyst will work closely with our 3rd party warehouse to create work orders for internal builds and our depository network to ensure inventory availability for customer orders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes inventory levels and recommends reorder quantities to manager and creates assembly work orders.
- Maintaining a title level purchase plan for effective scheduling of capacity at manufacturing vendors
- Monitoring backorders and recommending the most economical or efficient way to eliminate them
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of title master data and bills of materials
- Communicates with vendors and warehouses to ensure inventory ships and delivers on time and accurately
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or an Operational role in a similar industry or level of responsibility.
- Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.
- Experience working with internal customers and external vendors.
- Understands when to work with a sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
