Summary

Assistant Store Manager at BibliU's George W. Bush Library retail location responsible for overseeing all store operations, inventory management, staff recruitment and training, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Manage daily store operations including inventory management, cash register operations, staff scheduling and supervision, textbook receiving and stocking, customer service, and operating remote locations during each semester. Build relationships with faculty and administrative personnel, handle data entry, and maintain budgeted goals.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, demonstrated team building capabilities, and excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years experience in a college bookstore or retail operation with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Accounting experience and data entry skills are preferred; two years of college or equivalent education is a plus.
Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas, United States (George W. Bush Library, 2943 SMU Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75205) with travel to remote locations during each semester.
Compensation: $38,000 – $43,000/year
