Role Snapshot
Join Sourcebooks as a Summer Intern in Publishing Operations/Cover Production Design, where you'll gain hands-on experience creating book covers and visual assets while contributing meaningfully to real projects alongside industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Support the Covers Production team in creating book jackets and visual assets across Adult & YA imprints, manage the full cover production process, assist with art buying and research, and track project progress while meeting creative and production deadlines.
Skills & Tools: Strong typography and design layout skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; excellent organizational, communication, and creative problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and accept constructive feedback.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with a passion for design and the publishing industry; experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
Location: Naperville, Illinois
Compensation: $17/hr
