Classroom Facilitator (Volunteer)

My Foundations in Plano, Texas, is looking for a volunteer classroom facilitator for a small therapeutic microschool serving children ages 4–8. The position is Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, starting August 12th.

We are looking for someone who:

Is patient and enthusiastic about working with young children
Enjoys supporting neurodiverse learners, including those with autism and ADHD
Is coachable, adaptable, and collaborative

Primary duties include:

Assisting with daily classroom set-up and clean-up
Supporting children with potty breaks and transitions
Facilitating activities such as crafts, play, sensory exploration, and fine motor tasks
Helping maintain a warm, supportive classroom environment

This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic, inclusive educational setting - great for those interested in healthcare or speech therapy, occupational therapy, special education, early childhood etc.
