The Software Project Management Intern will work with our Software Support Department and will have an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing software support projects while developing technical and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have strong planning and coordination skills, be knowledgeable in software development, and have a passion for education and student success.
Duties:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking software support projects
- Work closely with developers, technical support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project execution
- Participate in a variety of planning and milestone meeting with Support staff
- Create and maintain project documentation, timelines, and progress reports
- Support CourseLeaf initiatives by understanding project requirements and collaborating with other departments on certain tasks
- Utilize internal tools to track progress of projects and communicate statuses as needed
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
The Software Project Management Intern position is considered sedentary and will use office equipment, phones, and computers. This position may be in an office or be work-from-home and at times be faced with interruptions.
