Summary
The Director of Advancement Technology leads strategic technology initiatives supporting fundraising and donor relations at Pomona College, ensuring the Advancement technology ecosystem operates reliably while supporting operational goals and data integrity. This role serves as a mission-centric technology partner, working collaboratively across teams to design, implement, and steward systems that enhance effectiveness and user experience.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Advancement technology environment including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, OnBase, Gearset, and integrated platforms; oversee system administration, user support, and release management; manage project implementations and change control processes with quality assurance governance; and foster user adoption through training and documentation.
Skills & Tools: Strong project management, business analysis, and technical communication skills with demonstrated expertise in Salesforce and related technologies; effective interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and experience in higher education advancement systems are required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in IT systems management, with a Master's degree and relevant certifications such as PMP or Salesforce preferred. Three or more years of relevant experience in higher education advancement technology systems is needed.
Location: Hybrid in Claremont, California, United States
Compensation: $122,573 – $125,000/year
