Location: This position is remote, but candidates must reside and work within the United States.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $45,000 - $65,000.

Job Overview:

The Sales Development Representative - Inside Sales plays a pivotal role in driving customer enrollment and loyalty through exceptional service and tailored solutions. This position directly contributes to achieving sales goals across Time4Learning & Brightspire Virtual School by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities, while partnering with the Revenue & Growth Marketing team to align promotional strategies and messaging with overall sales goals. This is a contributor role with clear ownership to drive conversion. Total compensation is based on performance. Must be available for 10am - 6pm ET shift, Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to all prospect inquiries through phone, email, social & chat.
Conduct targeted outreach to families exploring independent study or alternative education pathways, converting interest into qualified opportunities.
Manage and maintain a calendar of consultation appointments, ensuring timely delivery of scheduled sessions.
Identify trends and recommend solutions to drive increased customer enrollment and long-term loyalty.
Accurately document all prospect interactions and outcomes in CRM systems.
Execute special projects as assigned.
Use solution-oriented techniques that will leave an impeccable first impression.
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards internal & external customers.
Must be available to work occasional Saturdays and overtime.

Job Requirements:

2 - 4 years inside sales experience, ideally in education, edtech, or SaaS.
Ability to effectively close deals while fostering excellent customer relationships and retention.
Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar), Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask..
Exceptional customer service, written & oral communication skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Must be available for 10am - 6pm ET shift, Monday - Friday.
Required internet speed of at least 7Mbps. A speed test will be conducted.
