Summary

Mission Bit seeks a Program Assistant to support STEM education programs for youth of color by managing logistics, coordinating workshops, and handling administrative tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities: Manage program logistics including student enrollment and success tracking, coordinate and moderate workshops and events, prepare program materials, track data and metrics, and assist with outreach and recruitment efforts across the Programs team.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities with proficiency in spreadsheets and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), clear written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working with diverse audiences.
Qualifications: At least one year of experience in program work, administrative support, or youth-focused operations (camp coordinator, afterschool program staff, or event coordinator roles); passion for education, commitment to equity and social justice, and must live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States (in-person approximately 3 times per week; must be based in Bay Area)
Compensation: $23 – $25/hour
