Role Snapshot
The Strategic Event Programming Manager will plan and execute innovative programming for sponsored events aimed at enhancing career readiness for students and young professionals. This role serves as a key connector between ASA's thought leaders and national audiences across the education and workforce development sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Ideate, develop, and execute event programming for conferences, webinars, and sponsored events, including securing speakers and creating run-of-show documents. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on integrated campaigns, conduct speaker prep calls, research speaking opportunities, and develop promotional content.
Skills & Tools: Strong content strategy and writing/editing skills with 5-7 years of experience in thought leadership programming; ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and business acumen.
Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in content strategy for thought leadership programming with background or interest in workforce development, K-12 education, and nonprofit communications preferred.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $70Kβ$100K/yr
