The purpose of this class is to perform administrative and technical work in securing and supporting the College's computing and/or network infrastructure.
Master's degree in cybersecurity, information security, or related field with a minimum of one-year experience in cybersecurity or information technology. Experience with securing operating systems, networks, and various applications at an enterprise level required. Cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
- Provide strategic guidance for the planning and execution of additions, deletions, and significant modifications to the college-wide information security infrastructure.
- Direct vulnerability management, including scans, analysis, and coordination of remediation strategies with stakeholders.
- Conduct and guide comprehensive security risk assessments, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulatory compliance.
- Direct investigations and responses to security anomalies, providing expert recommendations and root-cause analysis.
- Develop and enforce college-wide information security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
- Perform advanced security analysis to optimize institutional business processes while balancing academic and administrative needs.
- Advise and mentor the College community on security policy compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
