Summary

Lead a team of internal developers at Sourcebooks to deliver business-critical applications, integrations, and automations. This role combines strong project management discipline, business analysis skills, and people leadership to ensure consistent delivery at scale.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, assign workloads, coach developers, and ensure balanced workloads and schedule adherence. Serve as the central intake point for development requests, define project scopes and MVPs, translate business requirements into actionable tasks, and conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews.

Skills & Tools: Proven project management expertise with exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com, Azure, and APIs; demonstrated leadership style characterized by urgency, ownership, and accountability.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience); 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a management, team lead, or project leadership role. Project management certification is a plus.

Location: Hybrid in Naperville, Illinois, or fully remote in AZ, CT, IL, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NJ, NY, NV, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, and WI. Occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000/year
