Summary

Lead tax and treasury operations for Eightfold, managing tax compliance, planning, and strategy while overseeing investment portfolios and banking relationships. Serve as key financial leader ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing working capital across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee tax provisions, returns, and filings; develop tax minimization strategies; manage cash flow forecasting and investment portfolio compliance; serve as primary contact for corporate credit facility reporting and financial covenants; negotiate global banking partnerships.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and forecasting tools; deep knowledge of US tax law, R&D tax credits, and international tax concepts; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA license required; minimum 5 years progressive corporate tax/treasury experience with 2+ years in managerial capacity; proven experience with multi-state and international tax and treasury operations.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $155,000 – $195,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

Oversee and manage the preparation of tax provision, tax returns and other tax filings for accuracy, completeness and timely filing Prepare tax planning projections and cash flow for all entities Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with tax laws Provide tax compliance and advisory services on international expansion, withholding taxes and VAT taxes Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations Oversee the investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with the investment policy, focused on liquidity and yield optimization Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance and reporting requirements related to a corporate credit facility Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial covenants and collateral reporting, even if the facility is currently undrawn, to maintain "good standing" Maintain a highly accurate, cash flow forecast across all legal entities to proactively identify funding needs and optimize working capital Maintain and negotiate services with all global banking partners, optimizing fees and enhancing the efficiency of payment infrastructure Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate tax and/or treasury CPA license Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity Experience with multi-state and international tax and treasury operations Strong, current knowledge of US tax laws, particularly related to the software industry, R&D tax credits, and international tax concepts Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial and tax concepts to non-finance executive leaders Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and drive projects to completion in a dynamic, high-growth environment Experience our comprehensive benefits with family medical, vision and dental coverage, a competitive base salary, and eligibility for equity awards and discretionary bonuses or commissions.
