Operations Coordinator supporting a Command Center team for an autonomous trucking industry leader, responsible for maintaining operational data accuracy and managing communications. This fully remote W2 contract role is critical to operational continuity and customer/finance workflows.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Essential functions include:
- Dispatch Support: Execute accurate data entry and real-time system updates to maintain operational continuity.
- Communication Management: Monitor and triage shared inboxes, responding to operational emails with professional etiquette.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Provide status updates and follow-ups to customers and internal teams.
- Financial Tracking: Handle routine billing communications, including invoice confirmations, payment follow-up, and documentation.
- Reporting:
- Manage daily operational updates and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure operational continuity and data accuracy.
Required Skills
- Experience: 1–4 years in operations support, dispatch, logistics, customer operations, or a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using proprietary Command Center systems and virtual collaboration tools (Google Suite, Salesforce, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Strong written communication, excellent email and follow-up etiquette, close attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in time-sensitive environments.
- Remote Ready: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and be "technically savvy" in a distributed work environment.
Bonus Skills
- Prior experience with autonomous vehicle operations, command center, fleet logistics, or finance-related communications.
- Experience working remotely in a distributed team.
