Software Engineer Intern at Ascend Learning developing and enhancing the ATI Nursing platform using Microsoft technologies in a collaborative, agile environment. This role impacts healthcare education by supporting solutions that improve outcomes for nursing students and educators.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and enhancements for the ATI Nursing platform using Angular, .NET Core, C#, and SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in agile ceremonies, provide technical support for production issues, and support deployments including on-call rotation.
Skills & Tools: Required proficiency in MS C#, JavaScript, MVC, SQL, HTML5, and CSS 3.0 with experience in MVVM frameworks like Angular. Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business scenarios into technical solutions.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with exposure to Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of programming languages C#, JavaScript, MVC, and SQL through coursework required.
Location: Leawood, Kansas
Compensation: $15–$30/hr
