Role Snapshot
The Data Analytics Manager leads a team focused on developing and implementing data reporting practices to improve student performance and experience within career learning services. This role acts as a strategic bridge between academic leadership and data strategy teams to define, track, and measure key performance indicators aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of data analysts in providing analytics support and consumer support with data products, gather stakeholder feedback for product improvement, maintain accurate academic data documentation, and implement Agile methodologies to deliver timely ad hoc reporting and data solutions. Engage cross-functionally to analyze large datasets, provide actionable insights, ensure data integrity and quality, and deliver training and support on academic reporting tools.
Skills & Tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel, SQL, data analysis, PowerBI, and Python scripting for ETL processes are required. Strong communication abilities and experience with stakeholder engagement across academic, technical, and organizational departments are essential.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a BS degree in mathematics, computer science, or educational leadership. Experience with education datasets, Snowflake, DBT, or Alation is preferred.
Location: Virginia
Compensation: $78K–$120K/yr
