Role Snapshot
Product Designer – Design Systems to enhance iCEV's design system by creating reusable components and ensuring UI consistency across products. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to maintain high-quality implementation and drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities: Refine and expand the design system, define and document reusable UI components and patterns, and manage a Figma library with alignment to front-end code (Storybook). Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify gaps, ensure accessibility compliance, and own governance practices for system updates.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Figma with component library experience (auto-layout, variants, tokens), knowledge of design system frameworks (Storybook), and strong understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, React). Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), excellent visual and interaction design sensibilities, and strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred with 3–5+ years of product design experience, including at least 1–2 years focused on design systems. Hands-on experience in EdTech or related industry and proven experience working on customer-facing products in cross-functional agile teams.
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Compensation: $80K–$120K/yr
