Job Description:
World Class Vacations by WorldStrides is a leader in student group travel and experiences. Hundreds of groups have trusted that we will deliver a safe, comprehensive, and educational experience. The Orlando Operations Team of World Class Vacations by WorldStrides, are responsible for the successful implementation of group itineraries as assigned. From the time the group arrives at the Orlando International Airport, to the time the group leaves, our team is in constant communication with the groups and acts as the main point-of-contact for Group Leaders. By providing an organized and easy travel experience, group leaders and students can focus on having fun during their trip. This is a seasonal part-time position with a variety of shifts between February and June 30th. There are no set hours for this position but rather shifts that reflect the needs of the company and the volume of groups traveling at any given time.
Responsibilities:
The Orlando Operations Representative reports to the Destination Operations Coordinator and Manager and is responsible for the facilitation of:
- Group Resort Check-In and Check-Out
- Hospitality Room Set-Up
- Special Events (ex. Pizza Parties, Group Dinners, Special Ticketed Events, etc.)
- Bus Move Operations
- Daily Group “Float and Promote”
- Luggage Pick-Up/Drop-Off
- Team Communication
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have availability during peak times - February through June.
- Team player that works well with students, teachers, local vendors, and WorldStrides staff.
- Ability to navigate a group through the city by foot and metro efficiently.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Integrity and responsibility.
- Passion for helping others.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience working with student populations preferred.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Skilled at multitasking and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic fundamental computer literacy/skills.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for occasional use.
- Able to remain on your feet for assigned shifts and to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds when assisting travelers with luggage.
