Summary
Senior Software Engineer role on Superhuman's Data Platform team focused on architecting and building scalable data systems that handle 60-70 billion daily events. This position offers the opportunity to shape technical strategy, influence product roadmap, and mentor engineers while working on complex distributed systems.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in large-scale distributed computing, SQL, Spark, Kafka, and Terraform; proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java; experience with orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt; strong knowledge of ETL patterns, data governance, and modern data storage technologies.
Qualifications: Minimum 10 years in computing systems with 5+ years managing production environments; strong understanding of ETL patterns, data governance, and modern data storage technologies.
Location: Hybrid - San Francisco or New York City
Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 / annually
