Summary
Lead a high-performing DevOps team at Moodle to optimize critical infrastructure and enhance technology delivery for external clients. Manage system performance, security, backups, and 24/7 support while driving business expansion through improved infrastructure excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee DevOps team managing client hosting infrastructure, system backups, performance tuning, upgrades, and security measures within budget constraints. Support security certification projects, coordinate on-call rotations, mentor team members, and align work with strategic priorities.
Skills & Tools: Extensive team leadership experience in managing distributed remote teams, Linux/Unix system administration, AWS infrastructure expertise, scripting languages, and knowledge of DevOps methodologies and modern management practices like Agile and SCRUM.
Qualifications: 5+ years in technical management role with ability to obtain security clearances and experience with security certification processes (FedRAMP, SOC, ISO). Must be a US citizen with willingness to receive necessary federal security clearances.
Location: Remote (US)
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000 / annually
