Summary
Lead Product Designer at Follett Software responsible for shaping user experiences and driving design strategy for a product line, with focus on innovative AI-enhanced features. This role impacts the entire product line by ensuring cohesive, user-focused designs aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities: Independently propose experience strategies, conduct user research, create design prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on design implementation. Responsibilities include problem framing, design systems contribution, rapid prototyping using AI-powered tools, and socializing design learnings across teams.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in AI design methods and tools, interaction design, data literacy, visual design principles, and design systems. Strong capabilities in design strategy, ideation facilitation, prototyping (Figma, Claude Code), accessibility standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in product design, with emphasis on design strategy and AI-assisted workflows. Working understanding of design systems, dev handoff practices, and demonstrated expertise in at least one design specialization area.

Compensation: $105K–$150K/yr
