Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team with conference and event planning, campaign execution, and day-to-day operational needs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing operations, events, and campaign support. The intern will play a key role in ensuring marketing initiatives run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conference & Event Support:

Assist with conference and event planning logistics, including hotel reservations, travel coordination, and vendor communication.
Support packing, shipping, and tracking of conference materials and promotional items.
Help manage on-site and pre-event preparation needs, including individual requests from team members.

Campaign & Email Marketing Support:

Assist with planning, building, and scheduling marketing campaign emails.
Support campaign execution by organizing assets, tracking timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
Perform basic quality checks on emails and campaign materials before launch.

Required Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and documents.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with a team.
Comfortable handling logistics and coordination tasks.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Prior internship or experience in marketing, events, or administrative support is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands

May occasionally lift or move materials up to 25 lbs (conference materials, boxes, etc.).
Must be comfortable standing, packing, or organizing materials for short periods of time.

Work Environment

Primarily an office environment with regular use of computers, phones, and printers.
Occasional warehouse or storage area work related to packing and shipping event materials.
Moderate noise level typical of an office setting.
