Summary
Lead accounting operations for a fast-growing education technology company at Series C stage, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and scalability. Serve as primary owner of close, audit, controls, and accounting systems while reporting directly to the CFO.
Skills & Tools: Deep expertise in accounting, audits, and financial controls with demonstrated experience in high-growth, venture-backed environments. Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards (ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842) and comfort operating in regulated settings.
Qualifications: CPA certification and Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 12-15 years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or regulated environments.
Location: Hybrid in New York City, New York, United States
Compensation: $180,000 – $230,000 / annually
