Your Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer II to join our Business Operations team. You'll be the voice of quality from the start of the product life cycle, ensuring we deliver high-impact solutions that power our Sales, Support, Finance, and Billing teams.
As a QA Engineer II, you’ll:
- Champion quality and prevention. You’ll voice a quality-first focus in every scrum ceremony, ensuring we understand the "why" behind every problem and the impact on our users.
- Own quality strategy and testing. You’ll create comprehensive test plans, use data to drive high-quality projects, and lead initiatives that level up the quality mindset across the entire squad.
- Automate. By aligning our processes with development speed, you’ll make informed decisions on what, how, and when to automate.
For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln, Nebraska or Omaha, Nebraska. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.
Must-Haves
- Experienced. You have 2+ years of software testing experience and have worked in fast-paced environments with changing deadlines.
- Technical. You have solid experience designing and executing tests across the stack, from front-end UI validation to in-depth API testing, including proven, hands-on experience and proficiency with key languages (e.g. Python, Typescript) and modern automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium).
- A problem solver. You’re naturally curious and love exploring creative ways to find where software might break to ensure a seamless user experience.
- A team player. You work effectively within a global team, leading with empathy and clear communication to help your squad achieve the best outcomes.
Nice-to-Haves
- Domain experience. You’ve worked in a SaaS environment or have a background in a STEM-related field.
- AI Tool Exposure. Curiosity and exposure to leveraging AI tools (such as LLMs, specialized coding assistants, or test data generators) to increase efficiency in documentation, test case creation, or initial failure diagnosis.
- Customer driven. You think critically about the user experience and ensure our testing approach adapts to their workflows.
- Continuous learner. You’re passionate about professional development and always looking for new testing methodologies to apply to your work.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medicalinsurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
