Role Snapshot
The Art of Education University seeks a Front End Software Engineer to join their remote team and develop innovative educational products and systems. The role focuses on frontend development while collaborating with designers and other engineers to build reliable, performant, and accessible platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality software applications, participate in code reviews, and write clean, efficient code following modern development standards. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, continuously improve existing systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, planning, and testing.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, modern coding practices, and accessibility best practices; knowledge of cloud services, relational databases, and automated testing is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with beneficial experience in Golang, Python, Django, and service-based architectures.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in a remote work setting and with recent focus on frontend development. Familiarity with full-stack development and demonstrated ability to work in team-oriented environments.
Location: Iowa
Compensation: $90K–$130K/yr
