Summary
Development Intern position at Active Minds, a leading nonprofit focused on mental health advocacy, offering experience in fundraising and donor engagement. Interns will support the organization's mission to change culture around mental health while gaining practical nonprofit experience.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with donor outreach, fundraising campaign preparation, event planning, and data entry depending on team focus (Individual Giving, Development Operations, Community Fundraising, or Corporate & Foundation Relations). Develop communication materials, conduct prospect research, and interact with donors and fundraising partners.
Skills & Tools: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and proficiency with Google Workspace and Zoom. Experience with marketing or fundraising is ideal.
Qualifications: Current college students or recent college graduates required. Must be U.S.-based and able to commit minimum 20 hours per week from June 1 to July 24, 2026.
Location: Remote (U.S. only)
