The Outcomes Manager is responsible for establishing, tracking, and reporting outcomes to demonstrate degree of knowledge, change in competency, and/or change in practice/performance, as a result of participation in accredited medical education activities. The Outcomes Manager is responsible for Data Storytelling and includes in their story the unique and differentiating factors of the provider’s platform and system while communicating clearly and succinctly. This role depends upon knowledge of CME/CE outcomes standards (e.g., Outcomes Standardization Project), an understanding of statistical analysis, an ability to narrow in and highlight important data, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business development and clinical leads to create an effective outcomes plan for grant submissions
- Review program evaluations for alignment with outcomes expectations
- Track and analyze all outcomes data for approved grants
- Interpret data and develop monthly, interim, and final outcomes reports in collaboration with program managers and clinical directors
- Develop internal resources, capabilities, processes and procedures for assessing, planning, and evaluating the effectiveness of continuing education activities targeted to healthcare professionals
- Lead biweekly outcomes and reconciliation meetings
- Stay current with innovations in the demonstration of value for educational programming
- Ensure activity files contain all required retention documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in continuing medical education for funded programs required
- Ability to Interpret and narrate big data; prepare presentations
- Must be knowledgeable of pharmaceutical and/or medical space
- Apply statistical tools to understand learner segments, analyze and interpret results, reflect both met and continuing gaps in learning
- Internal and external stakeholder communication and presentation skills to articulate data are a must.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s level degree preferred
- Knowledge of current industry (JA/CME/CPE/CE) guidelines and standards
- Understanding of continuing education and adult learning principles

For full-time positions, Kaplan has three salary grades. This position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,647. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, and market data.
