What You’ll Do
As a Senior Manager, Teaching & Instruction, you’ll lead a regional team of virtual educators and shape the instructional experience for students and districts across the country. You’ll elevate teaching quality, strengthen program outcomes, and design innovative teacher training that scales impact nationwide. Your leadership will drive instructional excellence, regional alignment, and exceptional student results.
In this role you will:
- Lead and coach a distributed team of virtual teachers to achieve high-quality, standards‑aligned instruction.
- Drive instructional program quality and consistency across assigned states or regions, ensuring compliance, student success, and district satisfaction.
- Own teacher training and enablement through LMS leadership—designing engaging, data-informed professional learning rooted in adult learning theory.
- Manage regional staffing, hiring, onboarding, licensure alignment, and workforce planning.
- Partner with district stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams to resolve escalations and deliver seamless program execution.
- Monitor instructional data, identify trends or risks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to internal development initiatives, including teacher certification, leadership pathways, and culture‑building efforts.
Who You Are
- You have a Master’s degree in education or a related field, with Educational Leadership certification and/or demonstrated LMS/ID/LXD experience and project management required.
- You have 5+ years of instructional leadership experience, including managing remote or distributed teams.
- You are a confident LMS administrator (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) with experience managing provisioning, assessments, and data.
- You have strong experience with content-authoring tools such as Storyline, Articulate, Genially, H5P, or Learnosity.
- You are skilled at coaching teachers, driving performance growth, and facilitating high-quality virtual instruction.
- You are adept at stakeholder engagement and skilled in cross‑functional collaboration.
- You thrive in fast-paced virtual environments and can adapt practices to regional requirements.
- You bring strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- You understand instructional models, student performance metrics, and data-driven improvement.
- You have experience managing staffing plans, teacher licensure, and compliance processes.
- You have a strong design and UX/UI lens for learning platforms.
- You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
