Summary
Lead a distributed QA team at Nelson Education to ensure high-quality standards across digital learning solutions. Drive testing strategies, defect management, and continuous process improvements for web-based educational platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor QA analysts, develop and execute test strategies across multiple platforms, and manage day-to-day QA operations while participating directly in testing activities. Communicate defects to stakeholders, oversee automated testing suites, and collaborate with product teams during sprints and releases.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years testing web applications including cross-browser, API, and database testing; 2+ years leadership experience; proficiency in automated testing tools; strong cross-functional communication skills; and expertise in manual, gray box, and accessibility testing methods.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of web application testing experience and 2+ years in team leadership roles. Experience developing test strategies, managing QA teams, and familiarity with remote work environments is required.
Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Compensation: $90,000 / annually
