Position Summary:
Penn Foster Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive Marketing Project Coordinator to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to our key marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part inturning strategy into execution, ensuring project plans are clearly defined, timelines are aligned, and our teams are moving forward with focus and accountability.
As Marketing Project Coordinator, you will partner closely with the Sr. Marketing Operations Managerto strengthen our planning process, improve visibility across initiatives and streamline how we get work done. You will be a driver for our quarterly planning, cross-functional marketing projects, and help ensure process, communications and executions are seamless.
You are a connector and operational driver who thrives in ambiguity and is highly organized. You understand that strong coordination, partnership and communication are what unlocks team effectiveness, and you take pride in helping others do their best work by building structure that drives measurable marketing impact.
Essential Job Functions:
Planning and Alignment
- Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable marketing plans with defined timelines, milestones, and shared visibility across initiatives.
Project Enablement
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and deliverables while tracking cross-functional progress, surfacing risks, and facilitating stakeholder communication to keep projects advancing.
Operational Excellence
- Strengthen marketing workflows through consistent use of planning tools, maintain clear documentation, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Team Experience
- Coordinate team initiatives, meetings, and programs while building repeatable systems that improve collaboration and long-term effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- Experience in project coordination, marketing support, operations, or an administrative role
- Strong organizational instincts and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing structure where it does not yet exist
- High attention to detail paired with an understanding of broader goals and timelines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with project management tools (Workfront) preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools (Slack & Teams)
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes and workflows
