About The Role
The Growth & Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for bringing BrainPOP’s brand to life across every channel a teacher, principal, or district administrator might encounter—from our website and email campaigns to digital ads across the web. We sit within the broader Marketing organization and serve as the engine that connects our product to the educators who need it most.
In this internship, you’ll get a hands-on look at what it takes to reach educators—teachers and principals—through digital channels at scale. You’ll work directly with the full Marketing team, contributing to real projects that support BrainPOP’s sales efforts and help us communicate clearly and effectively with our audience.
In This Role, You Will
- Code emails so they are ready for production deployment, working within our email platform to bring campaign designs to life.
- Audit our website to identify any bugs, broken links, outdated content, or UX issues that could affect the educator experience.
- Test and QA email and website updates before they go live to ensure everything functions correctly across devices and browsers.
- Learn how our marketing systems—email, web, ads, and CRM—come together to tell one cohesive brand story.
- Collaborate with the full Marketing team on projects, attending team meetings and contributing to discussions about channel strategy and audience engagement.
On Your Resume
- A rising college junior or senior (preferred); Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Familiar with basic HTML/CSS concepts (e.g., understanding what a tag does, how to make a small text edit in code) — or excited to learn the fundamentals.
- Curious and detail-oriented — you notice when something is off and you care about getting it right.
- Comfortable learning new tools — no prior experience with our specific platforms is required, but a willingness to pick things up quickly is a must.
- A strong communicator who can flag questions, share findings clearly, and ask for help when needed.
