Role Snapshot
The Strategic Event Programming Manager will ideate, plan, execute, and evaluate programming for events that promote career-readiness for K-12 students and young professionals at American Student Assistance, a national nonprofit focused on education-to-career pathways.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage diverse event programming including panel presentations, workshops, and webinars; collaborate with colleagues on speaker curation and integrated marketing communications; conduct speaker prep calls and oversee event run-of-show documents; research speaking opportunities and identify third-party speakers for conferences.
Skills & Tools: Strong writing and editing abilities in nonprofit communications, collaborative and strategic thinking, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in interacting with diverse stakeholders across K-12 education, postsecondary education, and workforce sectors.
Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience in content strategy related to thought leadership, preferably within K-12 education or nonprofit sectors, with demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $70Kβ$100K/yr
