Role Snapshot
Product Designer specializing in Design Systems at iCEV to enhance and evolve the existing design system, ensuring consistency and collaboration across products. This role drives cross-product UI consistency, manages component libraries, and bridges design and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities: Drive cross-product UI consistency, design and document reusable UI components and patterns, and maintain a Figma library with component variants and tokens. Collaborate with product and engineering teams on planning and implementation, serve as a design systems advocate, and lead end-to-end design and rollout of new components from concept through QA.
Skills & Tools: Proficient in Figma with experience building component libraries using auto-layout, variants, and tokens; strong understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, React); familiarity with design system frameworks like Storybook and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA). Excellent communication and documentation skills with strong visual and interaction design sensibilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; 3–5+ years of product design experience with at least 1–2 years focused on design systems. Hands-on experience working in cross-functional product teams using agile methodologies, preferably in EdTech, with proven collaboration with engineering teams on customer-facing products.
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Compensation: $90K–$130K/yr
