Role Snapshot
Audio-Visual Project Engineer managing the complete lifecycle of AV solutions from client engagement through project delivery, combining technical expertise with project management and sales engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct client needs analyses, design AV systems, prepare technical proposals, and manage project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Technical proficiency in AV technologies, blueprint reading, and expertise in handling pressure and difficult situations professionally.
Qualifications: Background in AV technologies preferred with demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision while managing complex projects.
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: $75K–$110K/yr
