Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $75,000 β $95,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.
Job Description
- Competitive Intelligence System Design & Operations (The "AI Engineer") Build & Own the CI System: Establish and maintain an AI-driven, closed-loop intelligence framework that gathers, synthesizes, and disseminates market intelligence at scale. Operationalize AI Tools: Design, implement, and maintain "prompt libraries" and automation workflows to systematically track, summarize, and compare competitor announcements, news, and messaging. Data Governance: Own the competitive intelligence platform/internal site and comms, ensuring all information is current, accurate, and consistent across all assets. Process Development: Further develop processes, procedures, policies, and templates to improve data gathering, analysis, and intelligence dissemination across the organization. Deliver regular briefings and executive-level insights to inform strategic bets and investment priorities. 0-2 years of professional experience in a highly analytical, business intelligence, product marketing, or competitive intelligence role. Demonstrated high aptitude and enthusiasm for AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, automation) and a systems-level approach to problem-solving. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex product features into simple, powerful, and differentiated sales narratives. Proven ability to learn and navigate new software platforms quickly (a "hands-on" technical curiosity). Comfortable working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
