Summary

Senior Product Marketing Manager leading product marketing strategy for the Assisting vertical at Texthelp/n2y, a merged edtech and accessibility company. This strategic role involves owning buyer personas, messaging frameworks, go-to-market strategy, and managing two product marketing specialists across UK and Nordic markets.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and own buyer personas and customer insights, define positioning and messaging frameworks, create go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and demand generation teams, deliver sales enablement materials and market/competitor analysis. Support content creation, customer engagement, and product lifecycle initiatives while managing metrics and reporting.
Skills & Tools: Strategic thinking and storytelling ability to translate product features into customer value propositions; exceptional stakeholder communication and influence skills. Strong analytical capabilities, data management, organizational skills, and understanding of SaaS product marketing principles.
Qualifications: Proven experience in product marketing with demonstrated ability to develop effective buyer personas and GTM strategies; familiarity with SaaS models and understanding of brand, demand generation, and sales team motivations required. Desired experience includes knowledge of education technology, assistive technology, and special education markets.
Location: Huron, Ohio, United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $95,000 – $130,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, strategic, organized and highly collaborative product marketing manager to lead efforts for our Assisting vertical. This vertical includes products like Read&Write, Equatio, OrbitNote, EduLife, WritingHelper, SpeechStream, and GlobalTasks which all help educators inspire and instruct students with unique learning needs.  

Our products and organization are established in the industry—over 25 years and counting—with an incredible team behind them. Our product marketing team is new and evolving. You’ll be part of a group established from the ground up, ready to make a significant impact on the way we serve our customers and internal stakeholders. The right person for the job is a strategist and storyteller, who understands the market, represents the voice of the customer and enables the organization and product to succeed. Our Assisting vertical is our most robust, with products in multiple markets globally. This role will manage two Product Marketing Specialists serving markets in the UK and Nordics. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own & Develop Buyer Personas & Customer Insights
  • Define Positioning & Messaging Framework
  • Define Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy (Collaborate with marketing and demand gen teams) 
  • Deliver Sales Enablement Materials
  • Support Content Creation (Collaborate with content and design teams)
  • Deliver Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Own Metrics and Reporting
  • Support Customer Engagement Support Product Lifecycle

Desired Criteria:

  • Have an understanding of the education and/or accessibility tech space 
  • Familiar with the Assistive Technology and Special Education markets, user needs, and relevant policies
