Role Snapshot
Lead the technical design and architecture of Quizlet's Partner API platform, ecosystem services, and plugin systems to enable AI-driven learning integrations across multiple platforms and agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Own the external API gateway, SDKs, and developer tooling; design sandboxed plugin runtimes and LearnOS architecture; architect agent-driven ecosystem integrations (MCP, ChatGPT, etc.); implement secure developer experience with audit, rate limiting, and permissions; design publish-subscribe infrastructure for cross-system learning data exchange.
Skills & Tools: 10+ years building large-scale, multi-tenant API or developer platforms with strong expertise in extensible API and SDK design, OAuth 2.0, containerized services, gRPC/REST, event-driven systems, agent frameworks (MCP), and platform security/privacy best practices.
Qualifications: Proven ability to lead architectural transformations and design secure, scalable platform abstractions with demonstrated experience implementing complex API ecosystems and developer enablement layers.

Compensation: $276K–$323K/yr
