Content Marketing Intern at Kognity, a 125-person EdTech scale-up, responsible for creating and managing content across blogs, social media, podcasts, and email to reach IB educators in 140+ countries. You'll gain hands-on marketing experience while directly supporting the company's growth and educational impact.

Key Responsibilities: Create and adapt blogs, social posts, educator-facing articles, and email copy for the IB community; support thought-leadership content creation including the IB Unplugged podcast; manage social media scheduling and community engagement; conduct market and competitor research in the EdTech space.
Skills & Tools: Fluent English with strong writing and persuasive communication skills; experience leveraging AI tools for content creation and research; ability to manage multiple work streams, take initiative, and self-manage workload; genuine enthusiasm for education and the IB field.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an educational programme in Marketing (content & social media) or related field, eligible to complete an internship as part of academic programme; ideally an IB Diploma Programme graduate with first-hand knowledge of the programme.
Location: Hybrid - Stockholm, Sweden
Compensation: kr180K–kr220K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content and social media marketing while helping Kognity reach and support IB educators worldwide. You’ll contribute to content, campaigns and research, working closely with our Content Marketing Manager and the wider Marketing team.

What you’ll do

As a Content Marketing Intern you will get a chance to help shape how Kognity talks to IB educators, across blogs, podcasts, email and social. Your work may include:

  • Create and adapt blogs, social posts, educator-facing articles, testimonials and email copy that bring Kognity's IB messaging to life for teachers worldwide.

  • Support thought-leadership content creation, including our IB Unplugged podcast, that showcases Kognity's expertise to the IB community.

  • Support our social media presence through scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.

  • Run market and competitor research across the IB and EdTech space, turning findings into insights the team can act on.

  • Use AI tools responsibly to sharpen research, improve workflows and develop content more efficiently.

What we’re looking for

  • You are currently enrolled in an educational programme in Marketing (content & social media) or a related field, and eligible to complete an internship as part of your academic programme.

  • Ideally, you are an IB Diploma Programme graduate and have first-hand knowledge of the programme.

  • You write and speak fluent English, with a strong interest in clear, persuasive, and engaging copy.

  • You have experience leveraging AI tools to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution.

Practicalities

  • Duration: Typically one semester, aligned with your academic calendar

  • Location: Kognity office in Stockholm, hybrid set-up (50% office attendance)

  • Compensation: Unpaid academic-credit placement, in line with standard Swedish university internship programmes
