Summary
SEO Manager at Grammarly responsible for enhancing visibility and organic traffic through innovative SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) strategies across multiple web properties. The role combines traditional search optimization with emerging AI-driven discovery platforms to make Grammarly's products more discoverable.
Key Responsibilities: Execute SEO projects and optimizations on landing pages, implement on-page/off-page/technical SEO best practices, conduct keyword and AI prompt research, and collaborate with content, engineering, and product teams. Contribute to GEO efforts by analyzing prompt patterns, developing optimization guidelines, and supporting experiments across AI platforms like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
Skills & Tools: Solid understanding of SEO principles including on-page, off-site, and technical SEO, with familiarity with emerging AI-driven search optimization and enterprise SEO tools. Strong collaboration and analytical skills to work cross-functionally with content strategists, engineers, and data analysts.
Qualifications: Experience in both B2C and B2B SEO with advanced technical SEO knowledge and exposure to enterprise SEO tools and AI search engines. Demonstrated ability to execute SEO strategies and stay current with emerging technologies in search and generative AI.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States
Compensation: $118,000 – $163,000/year
