Summary

Full-time summer Product Management Intern at OCLC supporting the rollout of a new analytics platform for library technology services. The role offers hands-on experience in analytics, AI solutions, and product development within the library sector.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with product management for WMS Reports and Report Designer, develop and share report templates, evaluate Microsoft CoPilot AI for Power BI, implement AI tools for data analysis and documentation, and respond to customer queries while collaborating with Product Management and Marketing teams.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with PowerBI, data warehousing, and knowledge of library workflows are desirable.
Qualifications: Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in library science, analytics, or data science. Ability to work and problem-solve in fast-paced, collaborative team environments.
Location: Hybrid in Dublin, Ohio, United States (3 days in-office, May 19 - August 8, 2025)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $15 – $25/hour based on internship level and location.

This internship is anything but ordinary. If that’s what you’re looking for, keep reading. We are seeking a Product Management Intern join our team from May 19, 2025 to August 8, 2025. This is a full-time role during our summer hours, offering a hybrid work environment with three days in-office at our headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.

The WorldShare Management Services team is looking for an intern to be part of the large-scale rollout of a new analytics platform. The intern will learn valuable skills in understanding analytics and AI in the product marketplace, as well as learning best practices for data analysis and visualization.

You'll also participate in a dynamic AI capstone project, exploring innovative solutions and contributing to our AI strategy. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact!

Responsibilities:

  • The intern will provide support and product management assistance for the WMS Reports and Report Designer product.
  • The intern will provide valuable development of report templates that can be shared with our WMS and Tipasa members.
  • The intern will explore and assist in the Microsoft CoPilot AI evaluation for Power BI report development
  • The intern will perform investigation and implementation of other AI tools to assist with report query migration, release documentation, and data visualizations.
  • The intern will respond to customer queries and requests, and work with Product Management & Marketing teams on planning and execution of the continuous rollout of the Reports platform.

Qualifications:

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a library, analytics or data science related discipline
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools such as Google equivalents
  • Able to work, learn, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired but not required:

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Analytics and Data Warehousing basics
  • Knowledge of library workflows and processes
